- Functioning in an administrative capacity, oversee the operation of the psychiatric emergency service, comprising the Crisis Unit and Helpline. The purpose of these programs is to provide immediate response to psychiatric emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
- Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling and clinical supervision of the professional and paraprofessional staff of 25 in the psychiatric emergency service; assist in the preparation of the emergency service budget (400,000); involved in collection of data necessary to satisfy federal and state funding requirements; act as liaison between the public and the professional community; involvement with regular consultation and education functions in the community.
